Shirdi

Gurusthan is another prominent place in Shirdi. This is the location where Sai Baba first appeared as a 16 year old boy. Here you will see a Sai baba's portrait within a Shivalingam facing the Nandi bull.
Travellers must also visit Shani Shingnapur during their tour to Shirdi. This is a very unique shrine dedicated to the powerful Lord Shani. Lord Shani symbolizes the planet Saturn. The temple is simple in its outlook but has a beautiful spiritual aura bringing loads of spirituality seekers here. Locals of the village believe that Lord Shani protects them from thieves, and thus, no house in the village has doors and locks.
Samadhi Mandir is another prominent place in Shirdi which was raised by a millionaire from Nagpur. It is said that pilgrims wanted to install an idol of Lord Murlidhar in this temple and thus, Sai baba declared himself as one. The temple features huge pillars and looks fascinating.
