Calangute Beach
Calangute Beach remains the most popular beach of Goa situated in the Northern region of the state. Every day thousands of locals and travellers flock here to spot splendid sea view. The beach has a colourful beach market around its coastline selling exciting beachwear, sunglasses, hats, and numerous food items. Here you can indulge in Parasailing, Jet-Ski, Banana Ride, Boat Ride, etc.

Baga Beach
This is another beach extremely popular among young ones. It is just 30 Km North of Panaji. The beach is dotted with numerous nightclubs dotted around it some of which include Britto's, Tito's and Mambos. The beach is also known for organising pulsating beach parties. Adventure lovers can enjoy various water sports at this beach.

Anjuna beach
This is a more relaxed and solitary beach. It has an untouched natural beauty with beautiful looking rock formations. The beach takes you away from the crowds and lets you relax while cherishing the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises. There is also a small flea market around the beach where you can buy ornaments made of sea shells.

Fort Aguada
The fort is a well-preserved 17 century Portuguese fort. The fort stands on the Sinquerim Beach and treats visitors with spectacular sea views. The fort has a rich history. It was built as a defence against Dutch and Marathas. It also has a 13 metre high lighthouse and a vaulted cistern which can store up to ten million litres of water.

Chapora Fort
The beauty of this fort is such that many Bollywood movies have been shot here. The present edifice which you see was built in 1717. The fort raises high above the Chapora River and it went into numerous transformations time to time.

Basilica of Bom Jesus
Goa is known for its spectacular looking churches and Basilica of Bom Jesus is one of them. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is adorned with precious stones and houses gilded altars and numerous paintings showcasing the life of St. Francis Xavier.

Goa has Goa International Airport located at Dabolim which is well connected with all parts of the world. The state also has two major railheads - Madgaon and Thivim. Road travel to Goa is fun with good roads connecting to the state.
